Prince of Wales announces New Manager

12th May 2010
"It's a new and exciting time at the Prince of Wales Hotel, the Port Magpies own licensed venue! We are very happy to introduce our new Hotel Manager, David Banner who comes to us with great passion and experience after spending several years as Group Hotel Manager with the Briggs Hotel Group, managing such hotels as the Willaston, Grand Tasman and many others.

David is looking forward to meeting all the regulars at the Prince, as well as welcoming all of our new customers and all you Port Magpies members! We are looking at many new ideas and concepts for the Hotel, and will be announcing those in the following weeks, so stay tuned!

The Prince of Wales Hotel is the key to the Magpies future. The long term viability of this great club needs all of its members, now numbering in excess of 7,000, to utilize the great facilities that the Prince offers. In the Dining room, we have a new affordable and exciting menu to combine with our excellent service, and our Gaming room is full of great machines, free tea and coffee facilities and a full bar service.

Remember, 100% of the proceeds of the Prince of Wales Hotel belongs to the Magpies! Quite simply.....if 5,000 of our members visited the Prince of Wales once or twice a month for a meal, drinks and/or gaming entertainment, the Port Magpies would not have financial difficulties, and in fact, we would be able to invest back into the Football Club and become a powerhouse again!!

That's how important you all are in determining our future. Makes the decision pretty easy for the next time you're out and about!

See you at the Prince!!"
